Development Capital of Australia Limited (DCA) acquires a 74% interest in I-MED Limited. I-MED entered the radiology market with an acquisition of a 49.8% interest in Southernex Imaging Group based in Brisbane.

I-MED joined with Riverina Medical Imaging and Border Medical Imaging to form Regional Imaging Limited ("RIL"). RIL subsequently acquired Northern Imaging Group, Tasmania.

I-MED acquired a 45% interest in Gold Coast Medical Imaging, a fast growing practice group in South Eastern Queensland.

DCA moved to 100% ownership of I-MED
DCA moved to 100% ownership of I-MED and the separate diagnostic businesses partially owned by I-MED through a share issue.

The I-MED Network was formed
The I-MED Network was formed when DCA merged its I-MED Limited business with MIA Group Limited, creating Australia's largest diagnostic imaging company. MIA had established radiology businesses in Victoria, Southern Tasmania, NSW, South Australia and Central Queensland. MIA also brought the opportunity to enter the emerging UK market through its Lodestone Patient Care business. The merger brought together 230 clinics and nearly 300 radiologists across Australia, and a further 17 clinics and 50 doctors in the UK.

DCA was acquired by CVC Capital Partners
DCA was acquired by CVC Capital Partners and CVC Asia Pacific. CVC is a private equity firm and as a result DCA became a private company and delisted.

The Lodestone business in the UK was sold.
